NASHVILLE, TN (June 16, 2026) - Veteran worship leader, recording artist, producer, and songwriter David Coate has released his song “A Million Ways” to Christian radio. Impacting Christian AC and Christian Hot AC/CHR formats, the uplifting track delivers an inspiring message about the many ways believers can express their worship and devotion to God.
Written and produced by Coate, “A Million Ways” was inspired by a powerful moment during a church service where a young woman presented an interpretive dance as an act of worship. Her heartfelt expression of humility and praise served as a reminder that worship extends far beyond music. That experience led Coate to reflect on the countless ways believers can honor God, inspiring the song’s central message and memorable refrain, “I’ll find a million ways to praise You Lord.”
The song opens with a reflection on gratitude and purpose, recognizing each new day as an opportunity to love and praise God. As the lyrics unfold, Coate expresses a desire to continually discover new ways to worship, declaring that singing, dancing, and even quietly whispering “I love You” can become meaningful acts of devotion. The result is a joyful and encouraging reminder that worship is not confined to a single expression but can be woven throughout every aspect of life.
For Coate, the message of “A Million Ways” reflects a lifetime spent using music as a vehicle for ministry. Based in the Boston, Massachusetts area, he has dedicated decades to serving the church through worship leadership, songwriting, production, and national touring. After becoming a follower of Christ at age 17, Coate temporarily stepped away from music while God deepened his faith and reshaped his priorities. A year later, after attending a concert by Christian music pioneer Phil Keaggy, he realized his musical gifts could be fully surrendered to Christ, setting the course for a ministry that continues today.
Throughout his career, Coate has toured nationally with the David Coate Group, performing at churches, outreach events, prisons, colleges, and major Christian music festivals across the United States, including Creation Festival, SoulFest, Crossroads Festival, and New England for Jesus. His ministry has also included special evangelistic outreaches, including a notable performance in Times Square, New York, reaching thousands in the heart of the city.
In addition to his touring ministry, Coate served as Worship Pastor at North River Church in Pembroke, Massachusetts, for 19 years and continues to serve there as a volunteer. His commitment to leading people into God’s presence through worship remains a central part of his calling.
An accomplished producer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist, Coate owns and operates Turning Point Recording Studio, where he has produced and arranged music for numerous artists and projects. His studio has worked with artists, ministries, television, and major record labels, while his own music has received national radio airplay throughout his career. A student of both classical guitar and jazz piano, Coate studied classical guitar at the Kansas City Conservatory and jazz piano under Berklee College of Music instructor Steve Heck. His broad musical background and decades of experience have helped shape a distinctive ministry that blends strong musicianship with a Christ-centered message.
Today, Coate continues to write, record, produce, and minister while working on his thirteenth album project. Through every season of life and ministry, he has remained committed to using his gifts to point people toward Christ, the One who first gave those gifts to him.
Through “A Million Ways,” Coate invites listeners to recognize that worship is not limited to a song, a stage, or a single expression, but can be woven into every aspect of life as an offering of praise to God.
“A Million Ways” has been released to Christian radio.
